Helping you breathe, connect, and thrive!
I hate to break this to you, but you're not a robot.
Despite what you might've been told, your feelings don't need to be managed, contained, or controlled; they need to be released and processed.
Did you picture yourself ugly crying when you read that?
Or yelling at the top of your lungs?
No, you don't feel too much! And processing your feelings doesn't have to look that way. Although if it does look that way, it's okay!
You're normal; your feelings are normal. And most importantly, your feelings are valid—all of them.
Because those feelings, if ignored, can overflow into other areas of your life and cause physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental setbacks.
The truth is, no matter how much yoga, meditation, therapy, or coaching you do, you're still gonna have shitty days. And sometimes, you need an ugly cry or visceral yell to get all this shame, guilt, anger, sadness, and frustration out so you can get back to the peaceful, nurturing truth of who you really are.
In this quick-fix and instant gratification world, we've been led to believe that something is wrong with us if we aren't bouncing back quickly and flashing a perfect smile that everyone else seems to have on Instagram.
After guiding hundreds of Breathwork, Tarot, Reiki, Chakra balancing, meditation, and restorative yoga sessions, I've realized that different personalities have specific ways of healing.
And you have all the answers you need right inside of you. All you need is to find a way to access and process those feelings.
From struggling to breathe to helping you use your breath to connect and thrive
I almost died - from fibroids.
Yup, you read that right; I was gasping for air with my heartbeat thumping like a drum in my ears and bleeding heavily for almost a year. And I was still drinking day-old room-temperature beer, binging on cocaine, and smoking pot even though I was struggling to walk 50 feet, stay awake, and breathe. And though I was literally bleeding to death and struggling to breathe, I was still overworking, numbing my feelings, and over-functioning.
Can anyone say denial? I was lying to everyone, especially myself, and flashing a fake I'm okay smile.
And even after getting pumped with six pints of blood, I still wasn't happy to be alive. I was searching for love, and answers I didn't know were already inside of me. It took me a while to get to this place of self-acceptance and awareness. Even as I type this, I'm still learning and still have moments of doubt, confusion, and frustration.
But the difference now is that I know these feelings are a part of life and an indicator of where I am. And I have tools to help me along my way.
This is what journaling, tarot, and breathwork help me do.
No, there isn't a cookie-cutter solution because you are unique. But with a framework to help you ground, connect, and access your intuition, you'll be able to handle whatever life throws your way.
Daily meditation was instrumental in my journey toward self-discovery. Soon after that, I found Reiki. Reiki helped clear my energy blocks which made room to get coached.
My career/life coach helped me break through my limiting beliefs and tune into my creative, intuitive, fluid soul. I felt free and was able to pursue my passion for learning about spirituality. I took a course on Mindfulness which helped alleviate my need to numb. Reiki, Aromatherapy, Meditation, and Yoga certifications naturally followed.
On my path, I made sure to instill trust and compassion to smooth the road and soothe myself. The more compassion I had, the more my intuition nudged me in the right direction. The more I trusted my intuition, the more gratitude I had. Each step led to the next clearing, which led to the next thing. It was as if the path was always laid out for me.
From meditation to guitar lessons to breathwork
After following an intuitive nudge during meditation, I finally decided to learn how to play my guitar. So I signed up for lessons, and my guitar teacher introduced me to his friend who taught integrative breathwork. In that breathwork session, I reconnected with my deceased father, grandparents, angels, and guides (you can read about it here). That life-changing transformational experience led me to learn how to facilitate conscious connected breathwork.
Now more than ever, I believe that we are all here for a reason. Meditation, Reiki, Yoga, Aromatherapy, Tarot, Breathwork, Journaling, Trust, Gratitude, and Compassion are all tools I used to bring me closer to my well-being. When we aren't suffering from our inner turmoil, it's easier to love those around us.
I'm here to help you use Conscious Connected Breathwork and Tarot to release bottled-up emotions, get clear-headed, and access your intuition, so you can breathe deeply, connect consciously, and thrive wholeheartedly!
